After two years of Covid back on the road. Hoping to complete the whole Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome. Following is a record of my story so far, Day 1 to Day 111, the final day.
Well the walk along the Via Francigena is over, so time for new adventures in 2018. Walking in Italy, Germany and Switzerland

Len I’m really enjoying reading about your experiences along the way. The heat sounds unbearable – hard to imagine here in chilly South Gippsland where the frost a few days ago froze my big bird bath solid. The canal walking sounds interesting, looks scenic and as you said, a good choice in the heat.
