Hi Len, this is the area that I did with Av following my Pa’s WW1 diary, very special and emotional He mentioned all the places you have. Yes, they war graves are in perfect condition thanks to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, certainly did mind leaving money. Without checking the diary I do remember him writing about Bapaume. I also recall him marching into a town in that area with the french running out, he had mixed feelings, sadness for the people but hope they would find food. He was a lovely man. Keep on walking dear friend.
